Ahh, the 6 figure income agency.

Why I Closed My 6 Figure Income Agency
1. It became a high-paying job
2. I had multiple bosses in my 6 figure income agency-- and all of them were annoying as shiz
I grinded and did my work, just like a good “employee”.
I got my bosses (aka clients) all the leads they could ever dream of, just like they had asked…
But still, no one ever seemed happy.
“Bobby, these leads are WEAK.”
“Bobby, I’m still not closing any actual deals”
“Bobby, I heard about <insert guru> who’s doing things THIS way. Could you try too?”
“Bobby, I don’t like the Eagles. Can you support a different team?”
It was something new every day. Every. Single. Day.
These guys were letting me stash away multiple 7 figures for myself… but I almost didn’t care anymore. I wanted them to leave me the hell alone!
I started my agency to “work for myself” and “be my own boss”. But whether or not I wanted to admit it, I was spending 60-70 hours per week running around like a maniac trying to be a people pleaser.
Worst part: just like watching your real world boss run off with your hard work to get promoted himself…
I watched my ‘clients’ run off with my multi-million dollar winning campaigns and scale their businesses to the moon… while I’d go back to the drawing board and start all over again with the next client. Ugh.
3. Trying to scale from 6 figures only added risk… while adding no extra $$ to my pockets
One thing I like to say a lot is that the agency model is the easiest way to a 6 figure income a year…
But the hardest way to get to a 7 figure a year income.
Why?
Because when you try to scale your 6 figure income agency, everything else has to scale with it.
Ad spend. Number of clients. Amount of work. Employees. Time coaching those new employees…
You get the idea.
No matter how much extra cash you chuck at the thing, it’s damn near impossible to capture any extra profits.
With the agency model, your output is almost directly proportional to your input — meaning that increasing what’s left for you to take home is not an easy thing to do.
Trust me, I must’ve tried “scaling” a hundred times. What was the result?
More work, more stress, risking high 5-figures a month…
For no change at all to what was left at the end for me to take home.
P.S. I wrote this post on my phone, sitting on a beach in Mexico with my wife. Was I ever able to enjoy life like this while I was running my agency? Hell no.
I recently started teaching others how I pivoted from frustrated agency owner to 7-figure DWY offer owner. Life couldn’t be better since I made the switch.
So if you’re feeling stuck with your agency the same way I was, head here to check out how you can replicate my DWY offer system.
